The mission of the Arkansas Foundation for the Blind and Visually Impaired is to provide funds, grants, loans, and distributions that provide educational support services to blind and severely vision-impaired Arkansas children, with the primary distribution directed to Arkansas School for the Blind students*.

We believe that blind and visually impaired children should be provided the opportunities to experience educational programs designed specifically to meet their special educational needs and be provided programs that develop the necessary skills to have a productive, independent life and the ability to effectively compete in a sighted society.
